According to reports, Landman’s second season is slated to debut on Paramount+ in November 2025. The series initially premiered in November 2024 and concluded in January 2025, but it wasn’t until March that a second season was confirmed. Fans can now look forward to the show resuming in 2025 instead of waiting until 2026 for its return.
During a Q1 2025 earnings call, Chris McCarthy, the joint CEO of Paramount Global, made an official announcement about upcoming shows from Taylor Sheridan. He revealed that “Tulsa King” would resume for its third season in September 2025, followed by the premiere of “Mayor of Kingstown’s” fourth season in October 2025. This news will undoubtedly bring joy to fans eagerly anticipating new content from Taylor Sheridan shows this year.
Landman’s Second Season Will Arrive in November
The filming for the second season commenced in April. Back then, Kayla Wallace (Rebecca Falcone) hinted at its comeback by posting an excited message, saying, “Overjoyed to be reunited with this crew again.
Produced by Taylor Sheridan and Christian Wallace, the television series Landman features Billy Bob Thornton as Tommy Norris, a high-ranking oil company executive who specializes in land acquisition (a petroleum Landman). Alongside him are Demi Moore, Jon Hamm, Ali Larter, Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, Paulina Chavez, Kayla Wallace, Make Collie, and James Jordan.
In simpler terms, the show “Landman” is a contemporary story that unfolds in the bustling oil towns of West Texas. It explores the pursuit of wealth within the oil rig industry, depicting both the gritty laborers (roughnecks) and the wealthy tycoons (wildcat billionaires) who are driving this massive boom. This boom is not only transforming our economy and politics, but also having a significant impact on our climate.
The first season of Landman is streaming on Paramount+, and Season 2 will debut in November 2025.
