In the latest addition to Sheridan’s successful collection of television productions, titled “Landman“, stars Billy Bob Thornton, Ali Larter, Michelle Randolph, Jacob Lofland, Jon Hamm, and Demi Moore, making her TV debut. The story unfolds in a small town adjacent to a contemporary oil rig, mirroring the dramatic intensity that has captivated audiences of “Yellowstone” and its subsequent spinoffs across numerous seasons. Recently, a casting call for extras in the “Fort Worth Star-Telegram” indicates that the series is seeking two six-month-old babies and stand-ins for the main characters. The production team anticipates commencing filming later in March, as suggested by the casting notice.
As of now, we don’t know specific dates, but it’s possible that his presence might be required during filming sessions, intermittently, for around a couple of weeks. The shooting location will be in and around Benbrook, Fort Worth.
‘Landman’ Getting a Second Season Is Paramount’s Worst Kept Secret
Despite viewers often bracing for cancellations of new TV shows due to streamers cutting many series after a single season, the show “Landman” bucked this trend by achieving remarkable success and reinforcing Paramount+’s supremacy. The series garnered an impressive 78% Tomatometer score on Rotten Tomatoes, demonstrating that despite some creator disagreements with “Yellowstone,” they have numerous other projects in the works.
