Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce-Inspired Lifetime Holiday Movie Gets a First Look

As a die-hard fan of heartwarming romantic dramas and Christmas movies, I am absolutely thrilled about Lifetime’s upcoming holiday movie lineup! The fact that their new film, “Christmas in the Spotlight,” seems to share a striking resemblance with Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s love story is just an added bonus.

Lifetime‘s Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce-inspired holiday movie has released its first look.

On Tuesday, Lifetime unveiled their entire holiday lineup, and it features the movie “Christmas in the Limelight,” with Jessica Lord, Laith Wallschleger, Jeannie Mai, and Haley Kalil as the main characters. Although the film isn’t an official adaptation of Swift and Kelce’s story, there are striking similarities. The plot revolves around a famous pop star named Bowyn (Lord) who hasn’t found her perfect match, until she encounters a professional football player (Wallschleger) behind the scenes at one of her concerts. After Drew expresses his affection for Bowyn publicly, they start dating.

As they spend more days together, their emotions intensify, yet lingering doubts surface: will their bond endure under public scrutiny, given their demanding schedules? The media, photographers, fans, and even their relatives question the authenticity of their feelings for each other, adding stress to an already tense situation.

In the initial picture, you can see both Lord and Wallschleger participating in a formal gathering for a special occasion.

Christmas in the Spotlight premieres Nov. 23 at 8 p.m.

Beginning November 16th, Lifetime will debut a collection of 12 fresh holiday movies featuring an impressive lineup of stars such as Jennifer Love Hewitt, Tia Mowry, Maria Menounos, BeBe Winans, Deborah Joy Winans, Vivica A. Fox, Jackée Harry, Romeo Miller, Sarah Drew, Teri Hatcher, Sasha Pieterse, Mitchell Slaggert, Brian Hallisay, RonReaco Lee, Lord, Wallschleger, Mai and Kalil in their casts.

Actress makes her debut singing an original track titled “Christmas Magic” in Hewit’s movie, “The Holiday Junkie,” which premieres on December 14th.

As a gamer, I’m thrilled to share that Lifetime has revealed their last original movie for this year’s “It’s A Wonderful Lifetime” lineup – it’s called “BeBe Winans’ We Three Kings”. The legendary gospel and R&B artist, BeBe Winans, will not only be executive producing but also starring in the film alongside his talented niece, Deborah Joy Winans.

Between October 21st and January 1st, Lifetime will broadcast over 100 favorite holiday movies on their official website, app, as well as their video-on-demand (VOD) partners. These new films will be accessible a day after they are initially aired on TV or VOD, while the Lifetime Movie Club will start offering 70 library titles for commercial-free streaming from October 25th onwards. Additionally, the network plans to create special holiday-themed playlists throughout the festive season.
