As a dedicated gamer who has seen countless console generations come and go, I must say that the anticipation for the PlayStation 5 Pro is palpable. With its promise of enhanced visuals and performance, I can’t help but feel like I’m on the cusp of experiencing something truly special.
Story Highlights
- The PlayStation 5 Pro is the next mainline PS console coming out later this year with improved tech.
- The console will welcome a fleet of “PS5 Pro Enhanced” games on release, including Lies of P and more.
- It looks like Rise of the Ronin is about to be one of them, thanks to a new developer announcement.
2024 saw one of the more unique AAA games, “Rise of the Ronin,” exclusively on PlayStation 5. Developed by Team Ninja, this game is set to receive the “PS5 Pro Enhanced” upgrade. This means that “Rise of the Ronin” joins an expanding list of games tailored for Sony’s future console.
🎮 Dive into the enhanced version of Rise of the Ronin on the PlayStation 5 Pro, featuring stunning graphics and smooth gameplay! Explore the lively cities of Yokohama, Edo, and Kyoto, as historic figures from the Bakumatsu era spring to life before your eyes. Shape your destiny in the epic setting of feudal Japan, brought to you by Team Ninja! 🎬
As a dedicated fan, I can’t help but acknowledge the numerous aspects that make Rise of the Ronin an exceptional title, such as its engaging narrative, innovative gameplay mechanics, and exhilarating combat system. However, one area where the game initially fell short was its uneven frame rate, which on occasion, made the game look rather unappealing. Fortunately, Team Ninja quickly addressed this issue post-launch, ensuring a smoother and more enjoyable experience for players like myself.
Here’s hoping that the PlayStation 5 Pro will lay waste to all those concerns and then some.
As a passionate gamer, I’ve been thrilled to see the incredible success of Koei Tecmo’s latest release, “Rise of the Ronin.” Initially, they anticipated it would sell at least 5 million copies, but it surpassed even those high expectations. In fact, in their investor’s report released this May, they confirmed that the game has sold over 7 million copies, making it a resounding success and outperforming their popular “Nioh” series. It’s no wonder, given the captivating gameplay and immersive storyline.
eXputer reviewed Rise of the Ronin, rating it 4/5, with author Haris Umer remarking,
Despite its shortcomings, trust me when I say it: Ronin’s gameplay, bosses, and traversal mechanics keep you hooked until the end.”
PS5 Pro’s Pre-Orders Are Underway As More Games Become Optimized
The PlayStation 5 Pro is growing an impressive collection of upgraded games before it hits the market. So far, Lies of P, God of War Ragnarok, and Alan Wake 2 have contributed to the conversation, with Rise of the Ronin being the most recent announcement.
As a gamer, I’m super excited to share that the next-gen console, loaded with PSSR technology, boasting a massive 2TB storage, an upgraded GPU, and more fantastic features, is set to arrive on my shelves by November 7, 2024, for a wallet-friendly $699.99! Can’t wait!
