The OB-4 is a top-quality audio system equipped with innovative features such as rewinding, looping, and fast-forwarding capabilities. In a statement, Sean Ono Lennon expressed his excitement about the concept of turning the Mind Games album into a game, which has materialized as an exceptional, limited edition speaker and radio. This unique device will enable users to customize the classic John Lennon album in ambient mode, offering an experience that’s never been available before. I can hardly wait for people to give it a try!
As a music enthusiast and avid gamer, I’ve always admired the legendary impact of that one ex-Beatle. He’s more than just a figure in modern music; he’s a pioneer who dared to redefine the rock genre with an incredible collection of groundbreaking, experimental tunes and chart-topping hits that resonated worldwide.
The idea for an interactive album originated from Teenage Engineering’s partnership with the late designer Virgil Abloh, resulting in the OB–4 Off-White edition being filled with the tones of traditional Ghanaian music when switched to disk mode.
The special, limited-edition Mind Games OB-4 can be purchased exclusively on Teenage Engineering’s online shop from October 9th to the 31st, or until it runs out of stock.
