Telemundo is expanding its team responsible for creating new content, with Monica Albuquerque taking on the role of Senior Vice President for Content and Development at Telemundo Studios.

In Albuquerque’s role, they will oversee the creation of content for Telemundo’s traditional television channels and streaming services. They will be supervised by Javier Pons, who is the Executive Vice President of Telemundo Studios.

Previously serving as the head of scripted content at Warner Bros. Discovery Latin America, she has now moved to join NBCUniversal’s Spanish-language media sector.
