Tere Ishk Mein: Dhanush and Anand L Rai bring back their magic 12 years after Raanjhanaa; can you guess female voice in the end adding to intensity?

Approximately 12 years following their initial partnership in Raanjhanaa, Anand L Rai and Dhanush are preparing for another collaboration titled Tere Ishk Mein. The project’s official announcement was shared via an intriguing teaser that has sparked excitement among fans.

Director Anand L Rai and the creators behind Tere Ishk Mein have unveiled a sneak peek at their upcoming romantic drama. The 1 minute 29 second teaser starts with somber background music, and then we see Dhanush’s character, Shankar, who sports a long beard and hair, running with a flaming bottle in hand, his eyes filled with fury. In a dramatic turn, the actor transports viewers back to the realm of Kundan from Raanjhanaa, alongside Sonam Kapoor, evoking an intense atmosphere.

Initially, he shares a poignant verse: “Last time it was Kundan, how do I stop Shankar this time?” Then, a wall displaying “From the realm of Raanjhanaa” ignites curiosity. As he moves, the screen reveals the film’s “In Your Love.

It’s intriguing that the creators have chosen to keep secret the identity of the main female character. However, a voiceover can be heard questioning, “Shankar, do only men die in love? Don’t some women also keep hearts alive to give them life?

In the matter of love, question meets answer, but silence is the rule, speaking is the exception…However, the heroine’s answer has finally come…be sure to tune in tomorrow…,” was the post caption shared by Rai.

Official announcement of Tere Ishk Mein

Although the filmmakers haven’t publicly confirmed Kriti Sanon as the female lead yet, many clues suggest she might be. Fans have been speculating the same, with numerous comments pointing towards her role. Last year, TopMob revealed that Sanon was in discussions with the director. An inside source has shared that the actress is not only drawn to the story, but also finds the transformation of her character intriguing.

Under the guidance of director Anand L Rai, AR Rahman, a renowned music composer, provides the soundtrack for this movie. Previously, they collaborated on films like Raanjhaana and Atrangi Re. The screenplay was written by Himanshu Sharma and Neeraj Yadav, while it’s backed by Gulshan Kumar, T-Series, and Colour Yellow, with production handled by Aanand L Rai, Himanshu Sharma, Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar.
