‘Terrifier’ House Inspired by 2022 Sequel Set for Halloween Horror Nights

Fans of “Terrifier” can anticipate a thrilling journey through a house of terrors, featuring none other than Art the Clown, during this year’s Halloween Horror Nights celebration.

As a thrill-seeking gamer, I can’t help but get excited when I hear about new additions to my favorite haunted attractions! On Thursday, Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort announced that a slasher franchise is joining the 2025 house lineup. This news comes after they unveiled houses and experiences based on Fallout, Friday the 13th, and Five Nights at Freddy’s. I can hardly wait to immerse myself in these terrifyingly fun experiences!

According to the world crafted by writer-director Damien Leone, and produced by Phil Falcone together with Dark Age Cinema Productions, the labyrinth is expected to offer “an intensely frightening haunted house experience that exudes a fresh wave of fear.

The house is designed based on Art the Clown’s terrifying funhouse from the 2022 sequel at the abandoned carnival. Visitors will find themselves in the clutches of Terrifier‘s notorious killer. As they navigate through, fans can anticipate an immersive experience filled with the unsettling sights, sounds, smells, and palpable fear that characterize Art’s gruesome murders. These brutal killings will be showcased for all to witness, as stated by the event.

Besides watching several memorable deaths from the series, visitors inside the house will encounter recognizable characters such as Vicky and the Little Pale Girl. They’ll navigate through replicated settings like the Clown Cafe, a disgusting restroom, and a chilling holiday nightmare landscape.

Renowned for its raw violence and explicit gore, the Terrifier series stands as one of the most successful modern horror stories, earning approximately $100 million at the worldwide box office on a total budget under $2.5 million for its three unrated films. This slasher universe kicked off its cinematic journey in 2016 with Terrifier, but its main serial killer was introduced in several of Leone’s short films as early as 2008. Since then, the franchise has expanded to include not just a trilogy on the big screen, but also an arcade game, novelizations, and comic books. Additionally, a fourth film is currently in development.

The Terrifier franchise unfolds in the fictional town of Miles County, New York, where a demonic serial killer named Art the Clown creates havoc. He targets innocent residents during Halloween, using progressively gruesome, malicious, and ominous tactics to instill fear and terror.

The frightful festivities of Halloween Horror Nights commence at the Universal Orlando Resort on August 29, and at Universal Studios Hollywood on September 4. These spine-tingling events will continue until November 2, and tickets are now available for purchase.
