Mike, a former security guard (played by Josh Hutcherson), and police officer Vanessa (Elizabeth Lail) have been hiding the truth from Mike’s 11-year-old sister Abby (Piper Rubio) about the whereabouts of her mechanical friends. However, when Abby secretly goes to meet Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy, it triggers a chain of scary events that will bring to light the sinister past of Freddy and unearth an ancient horror that has been kept hidden for decades.

Freddy Carter (from Shadow and Bone), Theodus Crane (known from The Walking Dead), Wayne Knight (famous for Jurassic Park), Mckenna Grace (in Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire), Skeet Ulrich, and Matthew Lillard are part of the cast. This project signifies a Scream reunion for Ulrich and Lillard, who portrayed Billy Loomis and Stu Macher, the Ghostface killers in Wes Craven’s groundbreaking slasher movie.

Scott Cawthon, the mastermind behind the popular video game series, wrote the screenplay and partnered with Jason Blum, the leading figure at Blumhouse Productions, to produce the movie.

In simpler terms, Blum expressed earlier this year that Scott serves as a beacon for these films, and the reason fans connect with the movies as they do is due to Scott’s active involvement in all aspects of them. Blum is extremely thankful for this.

Alongside her role as director, Tammi additionally assumes the position of executive producer for the movie, collaborating with Beatriz Sequeira, Christopher Warner, Russell Binder, and Marc Mostman in this capacity.
