Excitingly, I’ve learned that ABC has appointed a fresh showrunner for The Bachelor, which brings about a formal renewal of the show for the 2025-2026 season! As a devoted fan, I can hardly wait to see what this new chapter will bring.
Scott Teti, who is currently overseeing and producing Bachelor in Paradise, will assume the same roles for The Bachelor’s 30th season. The appointment of Teti follows the departure of former showrunners Claire Freeland and Bennett Graebner from the franchise, which occurred approximately three and a half months ago, amid accusations that they created a “toxic” and “unfriendly” work environment; however, Freeland and Graebner have refuted these claims.
Following their departure, along with the previous exit of co-executive producers Michael Margolis and Keely Booth, left “The Bachelor” in a state of uncertainty after it wrapped up its 29th season in March. ABC decided not to include the show on its schedule for the 2025-26 seasons during the May upfronts, despite “Bachelor in Paradise” preparing for a summer run and the network revealing its new lead for the upcoming Golden Bachelor.
More to come.
