According to People magazine, Molly Ringwald, Ally Sheedy, Judd Nelson, Emilio Estévez, and Anthony Michael Hall were united on stage at C2E2, a convention in Chicago, during a panel moderated by YouTube personality Josh Horowitz. They seemed thrilled to be reunited, with Estévez expressing particular joy as he had been absent from previous gatherings. When asked about his absence, Estévez said, “I felt it was necessary for me.” Lately, at MegaCon Orlando, the remaining cast members gathered to mark the movie’s 40th anniversary celebration.

Ringwald expressed her heartfelt feelings of joy and gratitude at being with everyone, saying, “It’s truly emotional and moving for us to be here together. We no longer need the cardboard cutouts. I am genuinely moved by our reunion.” She portrayed Claire in the movie The Breakfast Club, a character often referred to as the ‘princess,’ who was detained with other misfits. Estévez played the ‘athlete,’ Hall was the ‘brain,’ Nelson was the ‘criminal,’ and Sheedy was the ‘basket case.’ In this film, they’re all stuck in detention on a Saturday, but their unique bond forms an exceptional tale that unfolds much like few teen movies do.
