Hansal Mehta responded to a tweet from a user yesterday, where they voiced their dissatisfaction with his directorial work. Specifically, they felt that the movie ‘The Buckingham Murders’ wasn’t an original idea.

Following the director’s response, the user posted a comment in the discussion, expressing appreciation for the director’s previous work. Yet, the user seems apprehensive about whether this project might be an effort by Kareena to emulate Kate Winslet.

The story follows Bebo’s character, a grieving detective whose child has been murdered, as she moves to a new town to investigate a case involving a missing child.
Currently, Mare of Easttown is a popular American television show starring Kate Winslet. In this series set in 2021, Winslet portrays Marianne Sheehan, also known as Mare, who is a detective working on the case of a murdered teenage mother in the small town of Easttown.
