The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered – The Siren’s Deception Quest Walkthrough (Spoilers Ahead)

The Siren’s Deception quest starts with talking to Maelona about her husband, Gogan. She informs you that some female gang members tricked him and took his belongings, including his wedding ring. After agreeing to help Maelona, you will need to speak with Gogan who is either at home with Maelona or wandering around Anvil. Upon speaking with Gogan, he will share his humiliating predicament and disclose the location of The Flowing Bowl Inn, where the gang usually hangs out.

The Flowing Bowl Inn can be found just beyond the Anvil Dock Gate, near The Serpent’s Wake ship associated with The Ghost Ship of Anvil quest. Just step inside, and you’ll encounter Faustina Cartia and Signy Home-Wrecker, key members of the gang, waiting for your arrival.

In this storyline, irrespective of your character’s gender, they request a meeting with you at Gweden Farm at 11:00 pm. This farm is situated southeast of Fort Strand and Anvil, so it’s quite accessible on foot from the town. As midnight strikes, your next quest step will become available, instructing you to venture inside. Inside, the protagonist will instigate a conflict with the three women present.

Your character, regardless of its gender, asks you to meet at Gweden Farm at 11 pm. This farm is near Fort Strand and Anvil, so it’s not far from town. At midnight, your next quest step will appear, leading you inside where the protagonist starts a fight with three women.

Witsplinter is This Quest’s Secret Reward

Overcome the trio of females, and it will be unveiled that Maelona and Gogan are covert Anvil Guard members, tracking the gang. Maelona promises a generous reward in gold for dismantling the gang, thereby wrapping up The Siren’s Deception quest. But do stay put and don’t depart from the house, as there might be more discoveries to be made at Gweden Farm.

One of the women was carrying a magical dagger known as Witsplinter. This blade subtracts Intelligence points and Magicka damage. You’ll find Witsplinter discarded near its previous owner. Don’t forget to search their bodies for a basement key, then venture into the Gweden Farm’s basement to uncover additional gold and treasures. Last but not least, once you’ve thoroughly searched the place for all its riches, you may depart and continue your adventure in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered.
