Produced and directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, the high-octane thriller series The Family Man on Prime Video is set to reunite its initial cast, featuring actors like Manoj Bajpayee, Priyamani, Sharib Hashmi, Ashlesha Thakur, and Vedant Sinha.

In collaboration with Suman Kumar, Raj, and DK, the upcoming third season has been penned down. It brings back Bajpayee in the beloved character of Srikant Tiwari, who is both an ordinary middle-class individual and a top-notch secret agent.

In the eagerly awaited third series, character Srikant encounters a twofold predicament: dealing with an urgent danger to the nation’s security and managing the intricacies of domestic life as he attempts to mend his troubled relationship with his wife, Suchitra, played by Priyamani.

In the given synopsis, it’s explained that “Srikant finds himself in a tense situation where he needs to act swiftly. The importance of his actions grows significantly as he aims to outsmart a powerful opponent to protect the country’s independence.

Initially aired on Prime Video towards the end of 2019, the inaugural season of The Family Man was met with broad appreciation from reviewers. In 2021, its second installment, starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu, also earned comparable acclaim.

During an interview with The Lallantop, the performer from The Despatch was queried regarding the advancements and anticipated launch schedule for the long-awaited third installment of The Family Man series.

Bajpayee mentioned that creating a web series isn’t just about filming; post-production can stretch over 9 to 12 months. This duration is necessary to include dialogue in various languages, insert subtitles, make edits, and develop international marketing plans.

The actor gave a vague indication of when the series could potentially air, implying it may be close to Diwali 2025 due to the ongoing and extensive post-production work that will carry on until next year.
