A year ago, Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist from “The Golden Bachelor” exchanged vows live on television, an event marked by some unexpected incidents such as the presence of Turner’s former show girlfriends and a mishap with Nist’s dress. As Joan Vassos and Chock Chapple from “The Golden Bachelorette” prepare for their wedding in 2025, fans of Bachelor Nation are eager to know about their wedding plans. Recently, Chapple shared some insights into their upcoming marriage ceremony.
At present, no further “Bachelor” wedding is scheduled for this year, and it’s quite plausible that they might choose to skip a public ceremony. Here’s what Chock Chapple shared regarding their wedding plans:
Or more informally:
There won’t be another “Bachelor” wedding this year, and they might decide to forego a public event. This is what Chock Chapple revealed when asked about their plans:
People frequently inquire about this topic, and someone mentioned “25” over lunch today. My response was that it could be at the tail end of ’25 or possibly ’26. However, we’re edging closer. We’ve been enjoying each other’s company, taking the time to get to know one another, which makes it a worthwhile investment.
Unlike their Golden predecessors, Vassosand Chapple will not be rushing to the altar at the top of the year. When Chapple answered questions on his Instagram story, he shared that the couple are looking to become husband and wife either later this year or in 2026 rather than jumping the gun.
Last month, I was inquired about our upcoming wedding plans, and I shared that we initially envisioned an intimate gathering with family and friends. However, we’ve been reconsidering this idea lately.
Vassos expressed that, having witnessed the audience’s response to the show and the hope it brought them, she wouldn’t want to abandon them at the side of the road if she didn’t hold a public wedding. No plans have been made so far, and given Gerry and Theresa’s sudden separation – which left fans disappointed before the following season last year, it’s understandable they’re being cautious with their decision.
Previously on “The Golden Bachelorette”, the contestant shared with fans that they, along with their partner, have been actively searching for a home in New York City. As per Chock’s recent update, the couple has now focused their search within the SoHo district of NYC and are inspecting properties this week. To top it off, Chock also published an adoring birthday message to celebrate his fiancée’s 62nd birthday.

As Chock and Joan continue their search for a shared home and potentially plan their wedding this year, it’s evident that the breakup speculations from December were unfounded. Meanwhile, some other contestants from the “Golden Bachelorette” have been actively pursuing new relationships during the anticipation of the second “Golden Bachelor’s” reveal. In the meantime, mark your calendars for the season premiere of “The Bachelor” Season 29 on ABC, airing on Monday, January 27.
