The much-anticipated second season of HBO’s “The Last of Us” has arrived, drawing viewers back into the post-apocalyptic, mushroom-ridden world once again. The anticipation for Season 2 has been somewhat dampened due to some contentious adjustments made to the original game, “The Last of Us: Part II.” However, the audience ratings for the Season 2 debut have been released, demonstrating that a handful of disgruntled fans can’t diminish the appeal of quality television. Interestingly, the viewership for Season 2 is currently surpassing that of its predecessor.
