In the Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Faron Temple is a temple nestled within the verdant expanse of the Faron Swamps. This temple has gained notoriety for its dimly lit chambers, intricate riddles, and formidable adversaries.
As a passionate admirer, I must confess that stepping into Faron Temple can initially seem daunting. However, the treasures waiting inside make every effort worthwhile. Join me as we delve into this captivating journey, unraveling the mysteries and conquering the obstacles that lie ahead.
How To Enter Faron Temple in the Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
Entering Faron Temple revolves around the main quest of sealing the rifts threatening Hyrule.
In the course of your adventure, it’s essential to visit different temples, such as the Faron Temple, to help maintain harmony and avoid catastrophe that could plunge the world into disorder.
The temple features riddles, adversaries, and obstacles from nature that you need to conquer in order to advance. Keep in mind that these sections are connected, so expect to move through various levels both indoors and outdoors.
As you make your way towards the temple nestled in the Faron Wetlands, you’ll find the entrance barricaded by a fiery door with six torches burning nearby. Your mission is to put out these torches, though they will flare up again after a brief moment.
To quickly put out all the torches at once, employ a Wind Cannon Echo. Position yourself in the center of the torches, hold up the Wind Cannon, and spin around to extinguish them simultaneously. Once the fire disappears, the door will open for you.
As you step into the temple, veer rightward and ascend the walls cautiously, keeping a watchful eye for potential foes. To deal with them at a distance, consider using an Echo-like ability similar to Peahat. Continue climbing up the walls and platforms until you reach a room containing two Buzz Blobs.
As a gamer, I can conquer these enemies with either Echoes or my Swordfighter Form, clearing the way ahead. Inside this chamber, there are crystals that need to be illuminated to progress further. Kick things off by lighting the crystal at the room’s center, then head towards the upper left nook to activate another one.
The final crystal is hidden behind a metal barrier in the upper right corner of the room, but you can hit it by launching an Echo from a nearby platform. Once all three are lit, a new door will open, leading you further into the temple.
On my journey forward, I’ll eventually find myself back at the temple’s outskirts. Climb up to the fourth level next, and you’ll spot some ominous thick webs and a pair of watchful blue eyes overseeing the vicinity. To steer clear of being spotted, utilize boulders strategically to obstruct the line of sight from those piercing eyes as I sneak towards the room on the right side.
Inside, lower yourself to engage a switch on the floor that will create a route leading back up to the third floor. Now, you’ll have to be cautious as you move through rooms containing shifting blocks, looking for the optimal time to pass unscathed. Find and touch any green gems when possible; they usually unlock doors or reveal important items such as a small key.
Proceed further into the temple, solving mysteries, and carefully navigating obstacles to reach deeper parts of the structure. Once you’ve opened a door using a tiny key, in the central hall, you’ll encounter a colossal Deku plant with two heads. To vanquish it, aim for the red beads around its neck; striking these will cause additional damage.
After being vanquished, the nearby Deku flora will wither away, smoothing your path ahead. Later on, you’ll come across a mini-boss Deku plant with four heads, which you should avoid its toxic assaults and concentrate on hitting the red nodes to defeat it.
Later on, you’ll acquire a substantial key to open the entrance to the principal boss’s sanctum within the temple, which is guarded by Gohma – a creature resembling a spider. Go back to the ground floor and use the large door that leads to this chamber where the boss resides.
Gohma is going to hurl its eggs at you and generate harmful fog, so be sure to stay mobile to dodge them. Fire-infused reflections can obliterate the eggs, and since Gohma has a weakness for electricity, electric assaults will make it more susceptible.
After overcoming Gohma, you’ll liberate Tri’s companions and mend the rift. Additionally, you’ll be rewarded with five powerful crystals upon finishing the temple, edging you closer to saving Hyrule. Keep in mind the waypoints within the temple for quick travel, which could be useful if you need to retrace your steps.
