After several years since their initial collaboration on the Stan Smith model, adidas Originals and skate brand, Fucking Awesome, are reviving the distinctive skate-inspired rendition of the iconic shoe once more.

In this new version of Stan Smith by Fucking Awesome, a sleek monochrome black theme has been adopted for the upper, lace and sole parts. The distressed leather uppers impart an old-school, vintage aesthetic, while the signature patinated metal emblem of Fucking Awesome graces the lateral panel, just like in previous designs.

In contrast to the lighthearted stereotype created by all-black AF1 memes over the past few years, the single-color black theme is experiencing a revival in today’s cultural climate.
