The Nintendo Switch 2 May Have Just Broken the Record For Most Consoles Sold in 24 Hours

Following a year filled with anticipation and excitement, the long-awaited product was released on June 5, 2025. In just a few short days, numerous reliable insiders have reported that an astonishing 3 million units of this product have already been snapped up.

Despite a limited game library so far, the anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 has been generating excitement due to its enhanced performance and the capabilities of the new Joy-Con 2 controllers. In his post-launch interview, President Doug Bowser of Nintendo of America expressed optimism, suggesting that there will be a consistent flow of Switch 2 units throughout this year to accommodate the surge in demand. He further assured that they are confident in their ability to fulfill the demand for the rest of 2025, even during significant sales periods such as Father’s Day, summer, and winter holidays.
