In a chat with Times Now, the actress spoke candidly about her character, Sophia – a self-made, driven woman balancing love and life. Bhumi confessed that she identifies closely with Sophia, particularly since both of them unabashedly embrace their desires. “I believe people are often intimidated by a woman who openly claims her desires, ambitions, and aspirations in life,” she explained, adding that she has always been unafraid to do the same.

She attributed her courage and self-sufficiency to her upbringing and the necessity of being self-reliant from a young age. In addition, much of her fearlessness can be traced back to the life she’s lived and the experiences she’s had. From an early point in her life, she found herself needing to look after herself, which is quite remarkable. She doesn’t harbor any resentment or sadness about it; instead, she views it as a great fortune that she developed such strong independence at a young age.

Bhumi shared that one aspect she adores about Sophia is how multi-faceted the character is. She appreciates that Sophia possesses a strong drive alongside nurturing qualities, and noted that there remains in her a yearning for love.
