The Royal TV series, a romantic comedy drama, is now available on Netflix and consists of eight episodes for its first season. However, indications suggest that there will be a second season. In a recent interview, the actor hinted at some fresh elements expected in the upcoming web series installment when discussing his character. Take a look!

In a recent conversation with Filmfare, several gifted actors from The Royals shared their thoughts. When asked to name their co-stars, they collectively dubbed Ishaan Khatter as “The Bravest Knight” due to his impressive skills like driving, swimming, horseback riding, and performing numerous other daring feats in the show.

In her statement, Lisa Mishra, playing Nikki on the show, mentioned that only options remaining involved being launched from a helicopter. Furthermore, Khatter indicated that this could happen during Season 2, which may suggest that there’s a possibility of a second season of The Royals.

During the same interview, the actor portraying Pippa promptly declared that Zeenat Aman would be referred to as their ‘Trusted Confidante’ and ‘Royal Counselor’. Additionally, when asked who his ‘Royal Rival’ might be, Vihaan Samat went by the name Dino Morea. The actor playing Fursat also suggested that Nora Fatehi should be mentioned too, as she is equally worthy of the title. At present, neither the cast nor the production team has publicly commented on the possibility of The Royals Season 2.

At the performance, “The Royals” is helmed by Priyanka Ghose and Nupur Asthana, and produced by Pritish Nandy Communications. This romantic comedy introduces Ishaan as a character portraying royalty named Aviraaj Singh. Alongside Ishaan, Bhumi Pednekar appears as Sophia Shekhar in the leading role.

In addition to these well-known actors, you’ll find Zeenat Aman, Dino, Nora, Chunky Panday, Sakshi Tanwar, Vihaan, Milind Soman, Lisa, Sumukhi Suresh, Luke Kenny, Kavya Trehan, Udit Arora, and others in secondary roles. For those unaware, this series made its debut on Netflix on May 9, 2025.

Regarding Khatter’s professional endeavors, his latest appearance was in the American mystery drama mini-series titled “The Perfect Couple.” Meanwhile, his upcoming film, “Homebound,” featuring Janhvi Kapoor, is slated for the esteemed Cannes Film Festival in 2025.
