- The Sims Freeplay is debuting its newest series of events
- Kick off your own Pride Party, start a bbq battle and save the local pool
- Keep your eye out for the newest neighbourhood, Breezy Fields
Now that summer is in full flow (for those enjoying favorable weather), it’s not unexpected to see more popular mobile games receiving their much-anticipated seasonal updates. In light of its recent 25th anniversary, The Sims Freeplay is diving into the summer fun with the new “Make a Splash” update!
Without a doubt, summer wouldn’t feel like summer without backyard barbecues, swimming pool dives, and neighborhood gatherings basking in the warm sunlight. The Sims Freeplay is embracing the season wholeheartedly by launching a new series. Make sure to watch out for a fresh event titled “Risk it for the Sizzle” starting July 8th. In this exciting competition, your objective is to grill up your opponent in a BBQ duel.
You can also join in the festivities for Pride month by participating in the SimTown Pride Party Craft Challenge. Meanwhile, Nancy Landgraab is causing trouble again, attempting to convert the town pool into a parking lot, an issue you’ll need to address in the latest Influence Island event, scheduled for June 23rd.

Last, but by no means least, there’s also the debut of the new neighbourhood in Rocky Heights, with the introduction of Breezy Fields. This neighbourhood, inspired by the tulip-soaked Dutch countryside, will be available to anyone who has completed the first neighbourhood, Rustic Acres.
You should take a look at the complete schedule of events as well, since there’s plenty more coming up. Notably, we’d like to mention that additional updates will even be rolled out during vacation periods – quite unexpectedly. This just makes it all the more exciting to participate in The Sims Freeplay!
If you’re constantly craving updates similar to this one, it could be beneficial for you to Stay Ahead of the Curve. You can easily achieve that with our regularly updated section with the same title! This week, we have Catherine diving into the latest release, Sonic Blitz – a quick-tempo card battler!
