Let me explain, dear reader, she is extraordinary, truly remarkable. I sensed an instant connection, a promise of a beautiful friendship. You’d be fortunate to have her as a friend because both of you are exceptional individuals. Yet, alas, I fear that the blossoming of such a friendship will remain merely a dream.

After encountering Diaz once more, it appears that Joel Madden continued to support the idea of his brother and the actress from “The Holiday” making a good couple. Nevertheless, he remained skeptical about their relationship’s success.

So, he went home and told his brother about it but suggested it was “never going to happen.”
