As a movie reviewer, I must confess that I found myself siding with Danielle Reyes in this tale. Unfortunately for her, Xavier had earlier confided in Britney about his secret partnership with Danielle. This revelation left Britney feeling deceived, and in an act of betrayal, she set an insurmountable task for Danielle with only a limited amount of time to complete it. Alas, the clock ran out on Danielle, and she was unceremoniously booted off the show.
Was Danielle Really Justified In Being Mad At Britney Or Was It All Gamesmanship?
Danielle has consistently used the moment where she could potentially eliminate Britney on The Traitors as leverage throughout their time together. However, I don’t believe that Danielle is genuinely angry about this situation. You see, Danielle attempted to backstab Britney during Reindeer Games by allowing Xavier to do the elimination instead, which is a common tactic in Big Brother. Manipulation is one of the skills Big Brother Houseguests excel at, and it can provide a significant advantage when playing The Traitors.
As a devoted cinephile, I must confess that Britney did seem to edge out Danielle in the “Big Brother Reindeer Games.” However, it is crucial to acknowledge that Britney ended up in seventh position among nine contestants. Therefore, it wasn’t like anyone was unfairly tripped at the finish line, but rather a reflection of the competition as a whole.
In Season 3 of “The Traitors”, events unfolded that were more intense than anything seen on “Big Brother”. Despite this, Danielle’s reactions mirrored those from earlier seasons remarkably closely. This suggests to me that she strategically employed feelings like guilt, anger, and sadness as part of her gameplay. It seems that her emotional responses may not be as genuine as they appear to viewers.
The third season of “The Traitors” has concluded, leaving us eagerly awaiting the premiere of Season 4 on Peacock. It will be tough for the upcoming season to match some of the shocking scenes we’ve witnessed so far, but I’m optimistic that it can meet the expectations set by its predecessors.
