The Weeknd Reveals ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow’ Cover Art

As a gamer who’s been through countless late-night gaming sessions and lived vicariously through The Weeknd‘s dark tales of love, loss, and redemption, I must admit that his latest announcement has stirred a mix of anticipation and nostalgia within me. The cover art for “Hurry Up Tomorrow” is a stark reminder of the artist’s journey thus far – from the shimmering sea of the “After Hours” to the gray beards of “Dawn FM.

The Weeknd revealed the cover artwork for his upcoming album titled “Hurry Up Tomorrow,” which was announced this week. This project is set to be the third and concluding part of The Weeknd’s trilogy, with previous installments being 2020’s “After Hours” and 2022’s “Dawn FM.

In his recent announcement, the artist shared a video with scrolling poem-like text:

Fourteen years back, we found ourselves plunging into a glistening sea under the cloak of night’s later hours, holding our breath as if time itself paused. We tried to heal our scars with songs and light, creating an armor of sound and brilliance to conceal the truth hidden within.

The freshly unveiled artwork features a detailed close-up of The Weeknd, showcasing deep shadows beneath his eyes. This new image is notably more straightforward compared to the artificial facial prosthetics from his After Hours period or the gray beard he donned during the Dawn FM phase.
