Several cast members from HBO’s “The White Lotus” created a stir on Monday evening as they graced the red carpet at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art for the Met Gala. Notable figures such as Lisa, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Walton Goggins, and Aimee Lou Wood were among the high-profile Hollywood celebrities who received invitations to this grand fashion event.

This year’s event corresponds with the Costume Institute’s spring fashion exhibition titled “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” which takes inspiration from Monica L. Miller’s 2009 book, “Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity.” The theme for this year is “Tailored for you,” meant to guide guests and stylists in interpreting the dress code. Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams are set as co-chairs alongside Anna Wintour from Vogue, with LeBron James serving as an honorary chair (although he had to withdraw at the last minute due to a knee injury).
