Hey there, welcome to our latest edition of The Wrapp.
Over the weekend, members of our Pocket Gamer team will share their game choices, offering a glimpse into some of the fun and unusual activities we engage in outside of sharing the newest gaming news and advice. Who knows, you might discover a game that appeals to you!

This weekend marks the global Unova tour in Pokemon Go, so you can find me at my local town center from 10 am to 6 pm, on both Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, I’ll be focusing on catching Pokemon and completing quests. On Sunday, however, I’m planning to engage in multiple raids!

Following the turmoil of Claws & Chaos last week, I’ve moved on to another title brimming with chaos – Expelled!, a forthcoming adventure game where there will be no shortage of figurative claws. This time around, it’s from the creators of Overboard!, a game I adored, so I can’t wait to clear my heroine’s name again by framing another for an unmentionable crime. Don’t games make us more virtuous, in their own peculiar way?

It turns out my attempt to find a calming game similar to Jump King didn’t quite work out as expected. I came across an unnamed title featuring a tea shop setting and assumed it would provide a peaceful experience. Despite being in Early Access, I found myself feeling more burdened than relaxed, as serving customers seemed more like a job than a leisurely pastime. Perhaps the game’s development will evolve to incorporate a more relaxing aspect; only time will tell if they manage to add that calming element.
Due to Cat’s assistance, I’ve managed to find a potential new relaxation app. If my memory serves me right, it’s called Good Coffee, Great Coffee. Since I enjoy brewing coffee myself, this might be just what I was looking for.

1) With everything falling into place and the heavens smiling, The Shorekeeper will soon be back at Wuthering Waves. Regrettably, all my Astrites have been used in an attempt to improve Roccia and obtain her weapon. It seems there’s only one option left; I’ll need to grind to gather every last Astrite I can from exploration so that I can acquire three Shorekeepers and their weapons.

Hello there! It’s I, your friendly Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket enthusiast. Last week, I found myself captivated by the game itself, right after penning a piece about it. As a result, I neglected to complete my post – my apologies for that!
Initially, I progressed from 143 out of 155 in Space Time Smackdown to 147/155. However, this advancement might not increase much further as the latest expansion, ‘Triumphant Light’, which comes in a smaller, single pack format, has just been released. Fortunately for me, it resembles the Mew-focused Mythical Island in that there are only 75 main cards to collect, and I already own 17 of them. As soon as the new month begins this weekend, I plan on using all my saved Shop Tickets to purchase the updated Pack Hourglasses and then instantly place them all into the new pack.
It’s already tough that I’m heavily engrossed in TCG Pocket, but this week has been filled with constant Pokemon Go play (due to the Unova Tour event, there’s a Raid hour every weekday), and it seems like the intensity will only increase over the weekend, as events are scheduled throughout much of the daylight hours on both days.
Maybe ‘Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket person’ should just be Pokemon Person, eh?
Apart from that, I’ve reinstalled the classic game by Gameloft, The Oregon Trail, which unexpectedly popped back into my mind as something I used to enjoy. I’m planning to devote quite a bit of time playing it. As for other activities, I might catch up on some sleep too.

This weekend, I plan on spending a bit extra in the charming universe of Dredge. I’ve already shared my enthusiasm for it in my critique, so feel free to read that to understand why you should start playing it immediately. Even though I’ve watched the ending, I can’t seem to let go of my adorable fishing vessel just yet. It’s a delightful place to linger, at least until the ocean creatures grow tired of me. In addition, I’m looking forward to giving Retro Slam Tennis a spin. Given that Retro Bowl is one of my favorite mobile games, anything new from New Star Games is definitely worth checking out.
Beyond my mobile device, I’m currently immersed in the post-game segment of God of War Ragnarok. Overall, the story was quite enjoyable, but I believe it fell short compared to the original, mainly because characters continue to argue about the same issues without making progress until they suddenly make a drastic change. For those who might be interested (but probably not, Stephen), I completed my 10K race in 49 minutes and 45 seconds, though my Garmin showed that I reached the distance in 48 minutes and 58 seconds. Regardless of which time is used, it’s a new personal best for me. However, it’s the official time that most people would acknowledge as valid. Nevertheless, it’s still a personal best regardless.
