This weekend, I’m looking forward to giving Dungeons & Eldritch’s early access a spin, as it could be an entry for Ahead of the Game. The cover art at the end of the trailer resembles my cherished character, Sarah Kerrigan, who is reminiscent of the Queen of Blades, and that’s what has piqued my interest (It’s the visual similarity to a beloved character that I find intriguing). As usual, it’s the visuals that grab my attention (I tend to be drawn in by visual elements).
Let me tell you, I’d rather not discuss my skills in Hearthstone right now, as I have a hard time committing to one game and can’t resist the allure of novel games.

Absolutely, I’ve been spending a lot of time on TCG Pocket recently. I’ve progressed from 17 cards out of 75 to 66 now, and I’m getting close to completing the last expansion with 148 cards collected (just need 7 more!). This weekend, my goal is to wrap up Triumphant Light in order to return to Space-Time Smackdown before they launch another pack. I might consider trading if necessary to achieve my ultimate strategy, but it’s not a certainty.
In other updates, I’ve been immersing myself more in Romance of the Three Kingdoms Heroes, a mini strategy game that shares some similarities with chess. I’m eager to delve deeper into it. Additionally, I plan to complete Final Fantasy 1+, a game I downloaded for a blast from the past, but was sidetracked from due to the huge Pokémon Go Unova Tournament last week.

In many gaming communities, discussions about moral systems and the vast disparity in power between good and evil are common. However, during my mobile gaming experience, I haven’t encountered much of this theme. Since Cat has kept the title “Choose Evil, Do More Things” hidden (or it may not be available to players yet), I will explore app stores, itch.io, and other platforms to uncover any similar games.
When establishing a company or community, there are numerous paths to choose between becoming a tyrant or a benevolent ruler. However, your position is already predetermined. I’m searching for individuals with adaptable morals who can influence the world significantly by deciding to take no action if they so desire.

This weekend looks like another round of relaxing with Balatro and some miscellaneous activities. However, something I discovered and discussed during our podcast today is an app called Living Worlds, which showcases artwork by the famous pixel artist Mark Ferrari. Essentially, it’s a form of dynamic wallpaper, but it also comes with a checklist for spotting items within each scene that you can mark off as you find them.
Additionally, Dredge is quite intriguing, but I’m unsure if my relatively outdated phone will manage it effectively. Fingers crossed that I’ll be able to upgrade soon, which should increase my chances of testing some of the exciting new titles we have lined up for this year.

This weekend in Pokemon Go is all about community day, so I’ll be spending most of my time on that game! While Fuecoco isn’t my favorite Pokemon, it’s making its shiny debut, which could be interesting. On the other hand, Good Coffee, Great Coffee has been moving at a snail’s pace for me lately. Fingers crossed I’ll finally level up in it.

This week’s new releases don’t seem to offer anything new that I haven’t raved about before, so I think I’ll delve deeper into Retro Slam Tennis instead. Although it doesn’t match up to Retro Bowl in terms of excitement, I’m still enjoying my time with it. The concept of transforming a fast-paced sport into turn-based rallies is quite intriguing – and very reminiscent of New Star Games – and it provides some rewarding moments when I get the power right and tap the ball in just the right spot for a cross-court shot that my opponent can’t even touch.
