This week’s podcast topics sparked a longing for point-and-click adventures within me. Now, I find myself with two possibilities:
Over the weekend, I might search for another game on Google Play to fill the gap before Chants of Sennaar is released. Recently, I’ve been playing Mongil: Star Dive quite a bit during its closed beta testing, and now that it’s concluded, I find myself craving a change of pace in a genre where button-mashing isn’t essential.
After preparing for our latest podcast, Will seemed to make me feel quite inexperienced when we played a trivia game with the trivia deck, as I only got one question correct out of six. Consequently, I might spend the whole weekend hiding in bed due to my embarrassment.
And right now, this second option is looking much more appealing.

This weekend, I’ve found myself immersed in a nature-inspired digital world, despite being tethered to my screen. Lately, I’ve been spending quite a bit of time on Hananezumi, a charming idler by Hit Point Co. Ltd. In this game, you manage a garden frequented by adorable hedgehogs that grow flowers on their backs for you to gather. The team behind Neko Atsume created it, so you can imagine the warm, wholesome atmosphere. Therefore, I’m looking forward to spending much of my weekend tending to my hedgehog companions.
If I feel like turning on my computer during the weekend, chances are I’ll also spend some time exploring The Sims 4’s latest event series, Nature’s Calling. I fear missing out on the fresh additions to the game, so I want to grab all those freebies before they disappear. I hope it will excite me for the upcoming Enchanted By Nature Expansion as well.

This weekend is rather tranquil for me, with limited time for playing games. Yet, Vampire Survivors continues to be part of my routine due to its effortless ability to pass a short while without much fuss. However, I was surprised when I discovered that Epic Games is offering Cultist Simulator free of charge!
Among my all-time favorite games is Cultist Simulator, so whenever you might require assistance, I’ll be delving into the doorway of dreams and suchlike. Occasionally pausing for some vampire hunting along the way!

In my previous summary, I shared that I plunged back into Suzerain last week. Contrary to what I expected, my determined Strong Sordland campaign didn’t result in a counter-invasion of Rumburg, but rather saw them being ousted from the energy committee and me peacefully retiring to the coast. It was an engaging playthrough, and I can’t wait to see how the consequences of this unfold in my upcoming Rizia run. Since the DLC mirrors the main campaign, with similar playtime and direct impacts of your decisions on your rule, just like Rayne’s actions have a significant influence on your governance.
Beyond my current goal, I’m working on collecting the final three cards from the Ultra Beasts series in the Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket. This way, I can dive into the Eevee packs. It’s wonderful that these last two packs come in a single variety, as it’s helped me to begin filling in each deck more easily, before the next set arrives.

Despite June not being quite over yet, I’ve got some exciting gaming lined up for both the remaining days of this month and the start of July. With news about Broken Sword: Reforged, I’ve been granted access and am all set to navigate my way through ancient mysteries (possibly involving a broken sword). I’ll make use of the rest of June and July to solve these puzzles, but I should note that I’ll also be dividing my time with another adventure game focused on agriculture. Yes, Super Farming Boy is still in my collection, and I’ve been steadily progressing through its vibrant quest to escape corporate debt by mastering crop combinations.
So yeah, it’s all about uncovering historic secrets and farming creatively in the long haul. Woo!

As a passionate Pokémon TCG player, I’ve just gotten my hands on the latest Eevee Grove expansion. Right now, nothing else seems to matter more to me. I’m merely three cards away from crafting my dream Eevee deck, and I can feel the excitement brewing!
I fully acknowledge that this deck won’t be competitive in any tournament sense. But let’s face it, who needs competition when you can have cuteness? After all, isn’t having an adorable deck more appealing than a high-performance one?
However, while I may not be aiming for the top spots, I’m still determined to win! After all, winning is important, but I can’t deny that the thrill of victory with my charming Eevee team is irresistible. Let the battles begin!
Additionally, The Alters has been released on Xbox Game Pass, which I’m eager to explore. Initially, I hesitated due to its cover artwork giving an impression of yet another hero-shooter game, but my buddy corrected me recently, and it seems quite intriguing upon closer inspection.

This weekend, I probably won’t be playing the Pokémon TCG Pocket game, but I’ll stay updated on how the meta evolves due to the new expansion. I’m not a fan of Ultra Beasts, so facing off against a Buzzwole would dampen my mood. Instead, I hope Eevee and its fellow evolutionary forms can curtail that powerful bug’s reign. Frankly, I’m skeptical about their chances, though.
This weekend, I’m planning on playing Persona 5: The Phantom X. My relationship with this series is quite unusual. I’ve managed to complete more than half of Persona 3 and have invested a significant amount of time enjoying Persona 4: Arena, which isn’t typically my genre of choice – fighting games. However, I find the overall atmosphere of the series appealing. The problem is, I can’t commit to an RPG that demands hundreds of hours before I see the end credits. I’m optimistic that with its mobile focus, things might be different in The Phantom X.
