As a seasoned gaming journalist with years of experience under my belt, I can appreciate the diverse gaming habits and interests displayed by our team members. Cristina, with her love for Cookie Run: Kingdom and eagerness to try out new games like Malatang Master, shows a keen eye for unique experiences and a dedication to her daily routine in-game.

Hey there, welcome to our latest edition of The Wrapp.

Here’s your chance to peek into the gaming plans of our Pocket Gamer team for this weekend! You’ll likely catch a glimpse of some quirky and exciting activities we engage in when not delivering the latest gaming news and advice. Who knows, you might even discover a fresh game to enjoy yourself.

After returning from yet another flight, I found myself unexpectedly drawn into Symphony of the Night on my mobile device. This is largely due to my deep affection for the original game, which I only owned on my PlayStation 4. Given that playing it on my PC was inconvenient, diving back into this classic on a smaller screen became an appealing alternative. Although the smaller screen sometimes limits the full enjoyment of the rich graphics, I find myself overlooking that aspect and immersing myself in the game instead.

For now, I guess I’ll return to Balatro while I struggle against my own lack of skill and try to clean up at least one of the games. However, my understanding of cards and Solitaire prior to this has been practically nonexistent, so it’s proving to be more challenging than expected.

After emerging from the challenging world of sociability with fantastic tidings, I’ve successfully brought Lingsha onto our team! Now that my ideal crew is assembled, lessons from the past indicate it’s time to immerse myself in Honkai: Star Rail before taking a well-deserved break.

It seems like an ideal moment, considering the 2024 Pocket Gamer Awards approaching, that it struck me there are several games from this year I haven’t played yet. So, I plan to dive into a few of them over the weekend. ASTRA: Knights of Veda and Once Human are among those that caught my eye but slipped past me initially. I’ll begin with these two.

Miraibo GO didn’t go too well for me, leaving me with an empty craving for something monster-related. So, I’ve decided to give Ragnarok: Monster World a go this weekend.

I’ve had it on my phone since its release, but with all the capybara-ing (spending time with my pet dragon and riding a giant snail), I haven’t had much time to try it out. Despite Ragnarok games being abundant, I personally believe there can never be too many Porings!

For the past week, I’ve been enjoying Sandsoft’s game, Pocket Necromancer, which offers a less intense experience compared to typical Survivors-style games. You defend your enchanting gothic mansion from waves of construction workers who aim to demolish it, while you improve or summon new minions for battle. Over the weekend, I plan to continue playing, as it’s entertaining and I’m curious if the game will become more challenging. If it does, I wonder if a soft paywall will come into play, tempting me to spend money for further advancement. Only time can reveal the answer.

This weekend, I don’t have any major gaming plans as I’m focusing on some personal issues. But I will make sure to keep up with my Cookie Run: Kingdom duties and take care of my daily tasks. Other than that, I won’t be able to dedicate much time for anything else.

Should the chance present itself, I’m keenly interested in giving a spin to this novel game I discovered named Malatang Master. It appears to be an ASMR mukbang style game, though I don’t know many details about it. Here’s to crossing my fingers that I find the time to delve into it!

Successfully reaching the Masters in TFT over the weekend, we’ve achieved our goal. Now, I’m pondering whether to continue playing this game setup or not. If Cristina is interested in teaming up again, I might consider it.

Apart from that, I’m considering downloading MU Dark Epoch onto my device. Despite the fact that this game came out approximately 15 years ago, I never got around to playing it for some reason. Now that it’s been made available on mobile platforms (and I’ve been seeing a lot of ads about it), I thought it was time to give it a try. It appears to be an MMORPG with hack-and-slash elements, so maybe it won’t be too terrible at all?

Greetings everyone, and welcome back! This is Week 2 of my Idle Strategy Games journey. As previously mentioned, I chose to delve into two games specifically – Raid: Shadow Legends and Clash of Clans. I decided to give Raid a try just to see what all the online fuss was about for quite some time. To my surprise, the game recognized me, allowing me to resume play from where I left off. Whether this continuity is an advantage or disadvantage is yet to be determined.

For a long time, Clash of Clans was a game that managed to elude me, yet Supercell has always been able to bring joy to my face. Now, I’ve decided to dive into one of their earliest games, which many would argue still generates significant profits. I’m spending countless hours constructing and progressing in the game, aiming to see if it’s generating the income I desire. In other words, I’m trying to determine whether it’s earning the money that suits my taste. On the side, as these games require many hours and days for certain tasks, I might explore new territories and discover what’s currently in season.

This weekend, I have a series of festivities and car races taking place in nearby towns, which means I won’t have much time to dedicate to a specific game.

Today, I won’t be available for Pokemon Go research as I’m off on an adventure. Instead, I’ll secretly work on completing my collection in Monster Hunter World. There are only 27 weapons left to construct, many of which involve Rajang, Teostra and Daora parts. However, I expect I’ll concentrate on a few simpler ones that just need Magnamalo components first.

Besides my regular go-to songs, I plan on re-downloading the Alto games again since I find myself yearning for tranquil landscapes and stylish acrobatics.
