There’s Been Some Fun Talks About How Lacey Chabert’s New Hallmark Movie His And Hers Could Spinoff And I’m So Into One Idea

As a seasoned gamer of Hallmark movies, I have to say that the prospect of Lacey Chabert and Brennan Elliot teaming up for a full-blown TV show is music to my ears. Their chemistry in “His & Hers” was undeniable, and watching them go head-to-head as married lawyers every week would be like hitting the jackpot.

Lacey Chabert’s latest Hallmark production titled “His & Hers” was aired over the weekend, and I had eagerly anticipated it. Back in June, it was disclosed that Chabert would be collaborating once more with her cherished Hallmark colleague Brennan Elliot for this new project. In this film, they portray spouses who are lawyers representing opposing parties in a high-profile divorce case. Although the movie has only recently been added to Hallmark’s upcoming movie schedule, discussions about additional installments are already underway, and one concept is particularly intriguing to me.

In most cases, when a Hallmark movie is successful, they produce a follow-up film. Occasionally, this sequel evolves into a trilogy and eventually becomes an entire film series. However, Elliot, who worked alongside Chabert in the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries series “Crossword Mysteries,” hinted to TV Insider that it might develop into a full-fledged television show, similar to how “When Calls the Heart” did.

There’s chatter suggesting that there might be a follow-up, possibly even a TV show. Those who have watched it believe it has the potential to become a regular weekly event, or perhaps multiple films in the future.

As a devoted fan, I can’t help but express my excitement at the thought of watching Sullivan Stapleton and Judy Greer together again in “His & Hers.” Witnessing their unique dynamics as a married couple, especially when they find themselves on opposing sides, is a delight. However, imagine the joy of seeing them square off every week! It’s almost like peeking into heaven itself. Furthermore, while I love the intrigue and drama surrounding divorce cases and legal aspects, I’m eager for new directions in potential spin-offs. Why not explore routes that don’t necessarily revolve around these themes or even feature Chabert and Elliot? Yet, these new stories should still be captivating and worth watching. The actor hinted:

We might need to adjust things slightly, rearrange some aspects. It’s not necessary to only handle divorce cases, we can also manage other legal matters. You could collaborate with police officers or law enforcement, as well as various types of lawyers and attorneys to gain diverse experience. I find this concept appealing.

I’ve been hooked on legal dramas and procedurals lately, which have been captivating audiences for quite some time. Some of these shows have become franchises or have run for multiple seasons. His & Hers, with its unique take, could easily be a series – though it might not strictly adhere to the conventional Hallmark mold. I’m Brennan Elliot, and I find the concept incredibly appealing.

In the realm of Hallmark productions, it’s not common, but I find the concept intriguing – a struggle between two individuals, both nurturing their families and cherishing romantic relationships, experiencing the joys and challenges that come with such a personal journey.

As of right now, nothing has been officially decided, but there are some exciting ideas floating around. The success of “His & Hers” and feedback about a possible spinoff series could potentially make this a reality. If Lacey Chabert and Brennan Elliot were to star in such a series, it might mean less time for other projects they have lined up with Hallmark, as well as other commitments. Erin Krakow, who stars in “When Calls the Heart,” often finds it difficult to take on other roles outside of the long-running romance drama. However, there are various directions a spinoff could go, and ever since this idea was suggested, I find myself craving it more than ever.

As of now, it’s unclear if there will be a sequel or spinoff of “His & Hers”. However, it’s still too early to make any definite predictions. On the positive side, we can brainstorm some exciting ideas! At the very least, I hope that Lorraine Bracco (Chabert) and Judy Greer (Elliot) collaborate on a new project soon, whether it’s for “His & Hers” or another interesting production.
