Let’s put aside our intense dislike and remember our shared humanity. This rampant hatred is damaging our spirits and eroding the remaining essence of compassion within us.

Our unity is a challenging goal at the moment, but it’s crucial that we stand together. Our founding fathers recognized the importance of passion and created a democracy where reason and balance could prevail over brutality. We must be an American democracy that values good faith in arguments and respects the rule of law. Decency, dignity, fair play are not just empty concepts but vital elements of our living, breathing reality.
