As a seasoned gamer and long-time observer of pop culture, I must say that Tina Knowles’ defense of her daughter Beyoncé resonates deeply with me. I’ve seen my fair share of trolls and haters in the gaming world, and it’s always disheartening to see people who can’t appreciate talent for what it is.
Tina Knowles steps up to support her daughter, Beyoncé, following some harsh remarks from internet critics, who voiced their opinions after Beyoncé’s Netflix Christmas Day halftime show performance.
She posted a snapshot showing that someone was backing up the award-winning musician, pointing out that no matter how gifted an individual may be, you’ll still find those who can’t help but voice criticism or negativity.
Knowles expressed his bewilderment by stating, “I find it astonishing that you’d spend your cherished Christmas day watching a show starring someone you dislike and believe lacks talent, only to criticize it afterwards.
She went on to remark, “It’s quite clear that your fascination, even obsession, with them is so strong – you’re hooked, you idolize them, dream of being like them – that you can’t help but scrutinize, comment, and sometimes say things that make you appear ridiculous!
The previous supervisor noted that those unwilling to watch the performance had the option to choose another activity during its presentation instead.
In closing, she mentioned that she’s gained a lot through her mentor’s determination – when challenges arise, she responds by working even harder. As it says in ‘No weapon that is formed against me shall prosper’, she patiently waits for any deceptive programs to surface.

On Christmas Day, Beyoncé graced the stage during the Texans vs. Ravens game in her birthplace, Houston. She shared the spotlight with Post Malone, Shaboozey, and her 12-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.
The concert started with a pre-recorded segment featuring the celebrated artist donning a white cowboy hat and crooning the Grammy-nominated tune “16 Carriages” on a white steed. Subsequently, she launched into the actual live performance, wearing a white leotard and coordinating chaps, where she performed “Ya Ya”, which had been nominated for the category of best Americana performance at the 2025 Grammys.
Blue Ivy made an appearance on Beyoncé’s chart-topping song “Texas Hold ‘Em”, which was nominated as song of the year. Expressing her gratitude, the artist stated, “I’m truly delighted to be in Texas at this moment.” She further added, “Given the significance of this song to Texas, it seems fitting that we perform ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ here in Texas for the very first time.
After the event concluded, several individuals voiced their dissatisfaction with the half-time performance on social media platforms. One comment read: “Does anyone else find Beyoncé to be excessively overhyped as a musical performer?
One person suggested this artist is considered a country star due to wearing boots, a cowboy hat, and performing line dances. But another disagreed, stating it’s not true country music.
Dave Portnoy, the founder of Barstool Sports, expressed his thoughts on a different platform (previously known as Twitter), saying, “Ever since Destiny’s Child, Beyoncé seems to have lost her way.
