As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for detail and a heart full of empathy, I find myself deeply moved by Tishaa Kumar’s story. Having had the privilege to witness many lives unfold, I can attest that each life is unique, precious, and filled with its own set of experiences.
This year in July, Tishaa Kumar, a relative of Bhushan Kumar who is also Krishan Kumar and Tanya Singh’s daughter, sadly passed away. Several months later, Tishaa’s mother shared an emotional message, explaining that contrary to earlier reports, her daughter did not fight cancer, but rather succumbed to the consequences of a misdiagnosis that ultimately led to her death.
Tanya Singh shared a heartwarming video on Instagram, highlighting her delightful times with her daughter Tishaa Kumar. The short video depicted Tishaa as a vivacious and spirited girl who adored animals and cherished spending time with her closest family members.
Initially, it was said that Tishaa Kumar died following a long-term illness; however, several months later, her mother disclosed the true cause of her death in a detailed statement. She prefaced her explanation with, “Many people have been asking about what transpired. The truth can vary based on one’s perspective.

She goes on to acknowledge that when a blameless spirit encounters injustice because of others’ actions or wrongdoings, it can become perplexing and complex, often happening too late. Moreover, she emphasized that no one can avoid the consequences of their karmic actions, as they are subject to Divine Justice. She also recalled her previous post, suggesting that sometimes an entire life is forfeited due to someone else’s negative karma rather than one’s own.
She wrote: “Regardless of what philosophies claim or what others may believe about medical diagnosis errors, malpractice, superstitions like the evil eye or dark magic, such opinions are immaterial to the Truth. What others think is inconsequential because they do not possess the knowledge you do. In time, truth has a way of surfacing and will ultimately be revealed.
Tanya shared that, despite facing numerous challenges, her daughter never exhibited fear or sank into depression. Instead, she praised her daughter as “exceptionally courageous” and “the most fearless and unflappable 20-year-old,” expressing her belief that her daughter aimed to educate others about not letting a medical diagnosis cause undue alarm.
She noted that Tishaa was aware that the body is a biological being for whom immunity is key, and she wanted to help spread the word through her experience of overcoming a misdiagnosis and dealing with the side effects of chemo with biomedicine. She mentioned her daughter always spread love, joy, and kindness all around.
In my heart, I’ve come to understand that my beloved daughter wasn’t afflicted by cancer from the start. Instead, a vaccination given to her at 15½ might have set off an autoimmune response within her system – something we weren’t aware of at the time. Unfortunately, this response was misconstrued and incorrectly diagnosed as cancer.
In summary, it’s advisable that parents seek a second and even a third opinion prior to undergoing a bone marrow test or biopsy, should their child experience swelling in the lymph nodes.
She clarified, “Lymph nodes function as the body’s sentinels, and they can sometimes become enlarged due to emotional stressors such as feelings of rejection or betrayal, or because a past infection wasn’t completely resolved. We found ourselves entangled in the ‘medical maze’ before this information reached us. She expressed her hope that no child will ever have to navigate the harsh ‘labyrinth of medical pitfalls’.
In simpler terms, when Tishaa sadly passed away on July 18, the Kumar family announced this in an official statement. It was made clear that her passing followed a long struggle with an illness. During this challenging period, they asked for privacy to grieve.
