In the awards ceremony, Foxx received a nomination for Best Supporting Actor for his role in “Collateral”, but didn’t win. The movie itself was nominated for Best Film Editing, though it too didn’t take home the award. Additionally, Foxx got a nod for a Golden Globe in the same category. Furthermore, “Collateral” earned six nominations at the BAFTA awards, among them Best Director, Best Screenplay, and Best Supporting Actor, but it didn’t win any of those either.
