27 actors have been confirmed to star in the upcoming film, “Avengers: Doomsday.” The extensive cast announcement video from Marvel Studios features familiar faces such as Chris Hemsworth and the cast of “Fantastic Four: First Steps,” along with some unexpected and underestimated characters like Simu Liu’s Shang-Chi. However, one name that caught many by surprise was Tom Hiddleston, known for his role as Loki in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since “Thor.” With the second season of “Loki” seemingly concluding the character’s storyline, fans were taken aback to see his name on a chair. Yet, Hiddleston has now publicly spoken out about his presence in the casting video, expressing nothing but joy at returning to the franchise.
