Tommy Maximoff Returns to the MCU in Vision Series After 4 Years

It’s been said that another significant character from “WandaVision” will reappear soon. According to reliable source Daniel Richtman, after being away for four years, Tommy Maximoff is expected to come back to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the forthcoming Disney+ series.

As a passionate cinephile, I’m thrilled to share that according to Richtman’s latest report, talented actor Ruaridh Mollica will be stepping into the role of Tommy Maximoff in Vision Quest (working title for the upcoming Vision-centric series). In the intriguing Agatha All Along, we saw Billy’s soul inhabit William Kaplan’s body following his tragic car accident. In a similar vein, it was revealed that Tommy’s soul will occupy Tucker’s body, and as the series progresses, we’ll discover his true Maximoff lineage. Previously, Gavin Borders and Jett Klyne portrayed younger versions of Tommy Maximoff in WandaVision, with Klyne reprising his role as a Tommy variant in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

It’s not entirely unexpected that Tommy Maximoff is appearing in “Vision Quest,” as fans have long pondered the possibility of this character reappearing in the MCU series, considering that Billy made his comeback in the spinoff “Agatha All Along.” If Tucker indeed turns out to be Tommy, it’s likely that “Vision Quest” will offer a resolution to the cliffhanger left by “Agatha All Along.” In the finale of the show, Agatha found Tommy’s soul and transferred it into the body of a drowning boy before she departed with Billy.

Vision Quest Is a WandaVision Spinoff

Age of Ultron”.

In the upcoming installments of the “Vision” series, we see a lineup of characters both old and new. James Spader is set to reprise his role as the malevolent AI robot Ultron, accompanied by Jocasta, who in comic books is Ultron’s robotic spouse. Emily Hampshire from “Schitt’s Creek” replaces Dawn Michelle King, while Faran Tahir is rumored to portray Raza, the head of the Ten Rings organization that captured Stark in the original “Iron Man”, a faction not seen since in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Are the Young Avengers on the Way?

In comic books, Tommy and Billy are members of the Young Avengers team, taking on crime as the superheroes Speed and Wiccan respectively. At Marvel Studios, there’s a strong possibility that the Maximoff twins will join this group, given that Billy has already unveiled his powers (and donned a costume reminiscent of Wiccan) in the series “Agatha All Along“.

Vision Quest is expected to debut on Disney+ in 2026, as part of Phase 6 of the MCU.
