Toronto First Look at Time Travel Romance ‘Fate’ With Harvey Keitel and Faye Dunaway (Exclusive)

As a cinephile with a penchant for timeless love stories and intricate plots, I find myself utterly captivated by the upcoming film “Fate”. The sheer star power of this ensemble cast, led by Harvey Keitel, Faye Dunaway, and Cheech Marin, is enough to send shivers down any movie buff’s spine.

In a unique, initial sneak peek for the upcoming time travel romance film titled “Fate,” acting veterans Harvey Keitel (“Bugsy,” “Pulp Fiction”), Faye Dunaway (“Bonnie & Clyde,” “Chinatown”), and Cheech Marin (“Nash Bridges”) are featured.

As a movie enthusiast, I can’t help but express my excitement about the upcoming film directed by the talented Jonathan Baker, known for Lionsgate’s “Inconceivable” featuring Nicolas Cage, Gina Gershon, and Dunaway. This movie, freshly wrapped up in Vancouver, boasts an impressive cast that includes Andrew McCarthy from “The Blacklist”, Brandon Routh who stole our hearts in “Superman Returns”, Mena Suvari from “Grace and Grit”, and the captivating Janet Montgomery, star of both “Black Swan” and “Black Mirror”.

Following a terrible accident that cost him a leg, firefighter Sam Ellis (Routh) joins an unusual recovery program housed at a grand estate overseen by Theodore Deo (Keitel). Here, he stumbles upon the estate’s mystical qualities as touching a painting whisks him back to the lavish 1950s era of the Grand Hotel. He encounters Tilly and instantly falls for her. Unable to stay too long, Sam invents a means to prolong his visits to the past. Yet, love complications and historical events start to meddle with his present. Upon discovering a heartbreaking fire that claimed numerous lives and shut down the hotel, Sam embarks on a frantic mission to rewrite history and save his beloved.

Earlier this year, Highland Film Group initiated the project during the Cannes festival, and they’re currently finalizing sales at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
