After hinting at the partnership a week ago, Tower of God New World has officially added Mori Calliope and Tokoyami Towa to its growing cast. These Hololive sensations are now available as SSR+ teammates in the game, showcasing their unique personas and adding a touch of excitement to the mix. In addition, this update launches several short-term events that will run until April 23rd.
In the latest expansion of Tower of God New World, two fresh characters have been introduced: Yellow element units. Hololive’s Mori Calliope is a swift and agile Assassin Scout, while Tokoyami Towa assumes a supportive role as a Wave Controller. Their toolkits brim with captivating skills and distinctive style, making them an exciting addition for both Tower of God enthusiasts and fans of hololive.
The collaboration offers a unique storyline titled “We May Be Reaper & Demon, But We’ll Be Maids!”. In this narrative, the VTuber duo swaps their grim roles for maid uniforms instead. By accomplishing event tasks, players can collect items such as Tower’s Blessing Break Stones, along with a host of cosmetic and power-up rewards.
In addition, you’ll encounter a HoloLive Collaboration Special Summon with increased chances, plus a Daily Event offering rewards simply for signing in and completing tasks, which could grant you as many as 100 HoloLive Collaboration Summon Tickets.
For people not acquainted with hololive, it’s a widely popular female VTuber (Virtual YouTuber) collective managed by Cover Corporation. They’ve dominated the virtual streaming world and even made it onto the Billboard Japan Hot 100 charts. Now, their appearance in this collectible RPG is expected to bring in even more interest.
