Transformers Fans Are Losing It Over This Rare Bot’s Return!

Among the least familiar titles in this series is the complex anime known as “Transformers: Super-God Masterforce.” However, one of the leading independent production studios is now reimagining one of its primary Autobot characters for a contemporary adaptation.

Fans Hobby is about to unveil MB-32 Metalhawk, a new release inspired by the Autobot Pretender, Metalhawk, from the series Masterforce. This figure will feature both his robot and alternate mode, along with an interpretation of his Generation 1 Pretender casing. Expected to hit shelves soon, it’s poised to be the most authentic representation yet of this character that could possibly join fans’ collections.

Metalhawk Flies Higher Than Ever With Fans Hobby Masterforce Figure

Fans Hobby unveiled the initial model for the forthcoming MB-32 Transformers Masterforce Metalhawk toy, designed after the character’s look in the Transformers: Super-God Masterforce anime. The figure showcases both its robot and vehicle (a Cybertronian jet) modes, closely resembling the animation model. Despite being a prototype, it boasts noticeable detail, and the range of movement suggests it might even surpass the recent official Transformers: Legacy Metalhawk toy from Hasbro in terms of articulation. The iconic sword that comes with Metalhawk can be placed on top of his jet mode, while he also carries a blaster with red wings in robot mode. Extra parts allow for a more humanoid transformation.

The MB-32 Metalhawk figure will boast extra armor and interchangeable heads that mimic his Pretender shell from “Transformers: Super-God Masterforce,” thereby emphasizing the idea of an “inner robot.” This design seamlessly incorporates aspects from his animated character, as “Super-God Masterforce” has not been widely released in English. Alongside other series like “Transformers: Victory” and “Transformers: Zone,” it remains relatively unknown, with the same holding true for their respective toys. Consequently, the MB-32 is one of the few Metalhawk collectibles available, particularly a contemporary toy that offers both robot mode and a Pretender “shell.” The price for the Fans Hobby figure has yet to be disclosed, but it’s expected to hit stores in May or June 2025.
