Travis Scott’s ‘JackBoys 2’ Tops Chart, Ends Justin Bieber’s Six-Album Streak of No. 1 Debuts

On Sunday, Travis Scott claimed the number one spot among a robust lineup of new releases, with his latest album, “JackBoys 2,” leading Billboard’s 200 Albums chart. This victory was achieved despite stiff competition from Justin Bieber’s surprise release titled “Swag” and Clipse’s long-awaited first album in over a decade, “Let God Sort ‘Em Out.

As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but marvel at the fact that with JackBoys 2, my man Travis Scott has now notched up his sixth number-one album on the Billboard chart! This includes four solo masterpieces and the original JackBoys compilation. The album made a grand entrance, shifting 232,000 units in total. Traditional sales were particularly robust, with an impressive 160,000 copies sold according to Billboard.

Scott dethroned Morgan Wallen’s “I’m The Problem” from its two-month reign atop the albums chart, as it had been there since its debut in May. (Last week, Luminate reported that “I’m The Problem” is the largest album in the U.S. during the first half of 2025.)

Scott broke Morgan Wallen’s two-month rule at the top of the albums chart with his record, which had been there since its release in May. (Last week, it was reported by Luminate that “I’m The Problem” is the most significant album in the U.S. during the first half of 2025.)

For the first time in my 15-year gaming career, I didn’t start at the top of the charts with my latest album, Swag. This ends a remarkable six-album streak that began back in 2010 with My World 2.0. However, Swag had an impressive debut, launching with 163,000 overall units, driven by a whopping 198.77 million streams, according to Billboard. Interestingly, the physical sales for Swag will be added to the charts later on when the actual copies are shipped out.

Justin Bieber’s song “Daisies” seems to have secured another hit for him, as it climbed to the top of Apple Music and Spotify’s daily U.S. charts last week. It could challenge Alex Warren’s “Ordinary” for the No. 1 spot on the upcoming Hot 100 chart, with both songs closely battling for the position. The new Hot 100 rankings will be revealed on Monday.

Apart from Bieber, I managed to rack up an impressive 118,000 equivalent album units with “Let God Sort ‘Em Out”. This fresh release of ours made a strong debut, landing at the fourth spot on this week’s music charts.
