As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I can’t help but be intrigued by the latest offering from Kazutaka Kodaka and Rui Komatsuzaki: Tribe Nine. The recent unveiling of a new trailer for this upcoming ARPG has only served to heighten my anticipation.
As a longtime fan of both Kazutaka Kodaka’s intriguing storytelling and Rui Komatsuzaki’s stunning artwork, I’m thrilled to my core that we’re getting closer to experiencing their latest creation, Tribe Nine. The news that a PC beta is on the horizon, with a mobile version confirmed as well, has my heart racing. And let me tell you, it’s not just the prospect of playing this game that’s got me excited.
For those who are hesitant about the concept of an ARPG themed around baseball, this trailer provides reassurance by showcasing more traditional battle scenes. However, what piqued our interest was what appeared to be a mini-game interpretation (or something similar) of the city-wide baseball games described in Tribe Nine’s storyline.
As a longtime fan of Kodaka and Kotasuzaki’s work, I can’t help but be excited about their latest project. And let me tell you, if you’re wondering who you’ll encounter in this new world they’ve created, get ready for a rollercoaster ride of new characters, antagonists, and enemies that would make even the most seasoned baseball fan cheering in their seats.
Tribes- wait, wrong game
Intriguingly, Tribe Nine seems poised to make a surprise impact in the ARPG genre. With major developers such as MiHoYo leading the pack, we’re eagerly anticipating the public’s response to this newcomer. Though no official release date has been announced yet, PC gamers can look forward to testing it out during the beta launch on August 9th.
