Triptii Dimri recalls THIS co-star sent her to acting workshop; ‘That changed my perspective’

As a lifestyle expert, I must say that Triptii Dimri is undoubtedly one to watch in the Indian film industry. Her journey from being a newcomer in Poster Boys to becoming the national crush with Animal is nothing short of inspiring.

Triptii Dimri, an Indian actress, gained widespread recognition for her role as Zoya in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s movie “Animal.” Subsequently, she earned the title of the nation’s heartthrob and was affectionately referred to as ‘Bhabi 2,’ reflecting her character in the action-packed film.

In 2017, the actress made her debut in acting with Shreyas Talpade’s first directorial project, Poster Boys. A year after that, she played a leading role alongside Avinash Tiwary in the romantic drama Laila Majnu. Despite being relatively new to the industry, it was Tiwary who guided her and encouraged her to attend an acting workshop to refine her skills.

In a recent chat, I couldn’t help but sing the praises of my extraordinary co-star, Avinash Tiwary. As a greenhorn like myself, he made me feel welcomed and supported throughout our project. The Mid-Day captured this perfectly when they reported that he is not just supportive and kind, but also ensures the best for everyone’s performance. I can only hope to share the screen with him again! What stood out for me was when he suggested an acting workshop and guided me towards it. That experience completely transformed my approach to acting.

As a die-hard fan, let me share some personal insights. You know, the Qala actress openly confided in me that Laila Majnu provided her with a robust base for her acting journey. She candidly admitted that she was green when it came to acting initially, following her instincts and taking the director’s guidance. Reminiscing about her first day on set, she bravely disclosed that she struggled to pull off even a single scene. However, by the last day, she exuded confidence in her abilities. In conclusion, she humbly acknowledged that her acting skills have flourished tremendously because of Laila Majnu.

Over the past couple of years, Dimri has been involved in a few projects, but she’s carved out a unique space for herself that resonates with millions of her admirers. After making her initial mark in cinema, she appeared alongside Sridevi in Mom. Subsequently, she starred in Bulbbul, followed by Qala, and most recently, Animal.

Following her ventures into terror, sadness, and suspense, the actress dabbled in comedy for the film “Bad Newz,” alongside Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk. Upcoming, she will be joining Kartik Aaryan in the horror-comedy movie “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.” This exciting project is slated to premiere in cinemas during the Diwali weekend of 2024.
