Triptii Dimri reveals she cried for days after Ranbir Kapoor led Animal; 'dimaag khraab hogaya tha ke kya likh rahe hain log'

As a dedicated follower, I admire Triptii Dimri‘s journey from Poster Boys to becoming the national crush with her role in Animal. Her vulnerability and resilience are truly inspiring. It’s heartwarming to see how she handled the criticism that came her way after the release of Animal. Just like a chili pepper, she may be small, but she sure packs a punch!

Since making her debut in Poster Boys back in 2017, Triptii Dimri has consistently demonstrated her acting talents across various films. However, it was with the release of the 2023 action-thriller that she truly gained nationwide recognition and earned the title of “National Crush.” Although she gratefully accepted the accolades following her role as Zoya opposite Ranbir Kapoor, Triptii also shed tears upon reading some of the less favorable reviews from viewers.

During a conversation with Ranveer Allahbadia on his YouTube channel, Triptii Dimri discussed her upbringing, acting journey, and handling the criticism for the film Animal. In this discussion, she admitted that she cried profusely for two to three days following the movie’s release due to being unfamiliar with the negativity directed towards her. The actress from Qala also shared that she didn’t anticipate receiving as much backlash as she did after working alongside Ranbir Kapoor in the action film. “I would cry because I was frustrated thinking about what people were writing,” she explained, noting that people can sometimes be harsh online.

Initially, I hesitated when my sister suggested I claim my accomplishments, for I am the only one who truly understands the journey I’ve taken. She reminded me it’s okay to do so. In fact, I’ve learned from personal experience, there are times when letting go of emotions, like tears, is necessary – a signal that your body needs to release built-up trauma. Following her advice, I allowed myself to cry and, in time, found peace again.

In the same conversation, she mentioned that prior to her role in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film, she was generally more tranquil and enjoyed greater personal freedom. After the release of “Animal,” however, she has found herself busier with work but also facing increased scrutiny, which she considers a byproduct of being a popular actress. The actress from “Bad Newz” concluded by sharing that she’s receiving a great deal of affection from people around the globe now, but before her role in “Animal,” there was no negativity directed at her.
