President Donald Trump announced that Fox News host Jeanine Pirro would serve as the acting U.S. Attorney for Washington, D.C., a significant role within the nation’s legal system.
Presently, Pirro serves as a co-anchor on Fox News’ top-rated daytime program, “The Five,” following her tenure as host of the weekend show titled “Justice with Judge Jeanine.
Previously, Pirro served as a judge and subsequently as the district attorney in Westchester County, which is situated just north of New York City.
Trump announced on his post that Judge Jeanine Pirro has been chosen as the temporary United States Attorney for the District of Columbia.
