Trump’s Odds Soar to 64% After Biden Debate Performance

As a researcher with extensive experience in political analysis and market trends, I’ve been closely monitoring the developments surrounding the 2024 U.S. Presidential election cycle. The recent debate between former Presidents Trump and Biden has sparked significant interest among blockchain bettors, with many expressing doubt over Biden’s performance.

During the initial debate of the 2024 presidential election, doubts among bettors using blockchain technology regarding President Biden’s performance boosted the chances of former President Trump, elevating his probability of victory to approximately 64%.

Approximately $188 million is wagered in a substantial bet on the 2024 presidential election outcome. Of this sum, approximately $23 million is allocated for Trump’s potential victory, while around $21 million is set aside for Biden. Polymarket encountered a momentary interruption at the debate’s commencement due to an influx of heavy traffic.

As a crypto investor following political developments, I’ve noticed a shift in market sentiment indicating increasing doubt about Joe Biden’s prospects for making it to the election day as the Democratic nominee. According to the latest data from Polymarket, Biden’s chances now stand below 70%. Intriguingly, California Governor Gavin Newsom and Michelle Obama have gained significant traction, with Newsom at 7% and Obama at 5%.

A contract speculating if Biden would drop out of the race surged to 43% during the debate.

The tokens associated with Trump and Biden experienced notable decreases as per PoliFi traders. According to CoinGecko, the MAGA token (TRUMP) declined by 11.4%, BODEN token dropped by 47.6%, TREMP token fell by 7.3%, and DJT token, previously linked to Barron Trump, decreased by 3%.

As a crypto investor, I was anticipating some discussion about the burgeoning world of digital currencies during the recent Republican debate. However, to my surprise, the topic went unaddressed. Based on the current odds from a Polymarket contract, the probability of President Trump mentioning crypto or Bitcoin was estimated to be just 6%.

As a crypto investor and follower of current events, I was disappointed that independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. wasn’t included in the recent debate. However, his response to the debate’s questions during a special broadcast on X managed to capture my attention, racking up an impressive 5.6 million views on social media.

Is Biden senile during the debate?

The presidency debates between Joe Biden and his opponent, scheduled for June 27, 2024, could significantly influence the election results if Biden displays noticeable signs of senility repeatedly during the event.

To secure a “yes” response from this market, Biden needs to consistently exhibit signs of incoherence, confusion, difficulty adhering to debate rules, or extended bouts of unresponsiveness during debates.

If we’re evaluating this market based on Biden’s 2024 State of the Union Address, a “no” verdict would be the outcome. However, it’s important to note that minor errors or unclear moments during the debate won’t suffice. The assessment will strictly rely on the video evidence from the debate, with no modifications or additional information factored into the market rules.
