Tulsa King Season 2 Trailer Shows Explosive Return of Sylvester Stallone

As a long-time cinema devotee who has witnessed the rise and fall of countless characters on the silver screen, I must say that Sylvester Stallone continues to amaze me with his unyielding ability to captivate audiences. The return of Dwight Manfredi in “Tulsa King” Season 2 is like a well-aged single malt Scotch – rich, bold, and full of flavor.

As a movie enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that the second season of “Tulsa King” is coming to Paramount+ next month! The new trailer unveils the return of Sylvester Stallone and his band of misfits, who are determined to create an even bigger impact this time around. Debuting in 2022, “Tulsa King” has been a resounding success among viewers and critics, currently standing as creator Taylor Sheridan’s fourth-most popular series. In the series, Stallone plays Dwight Mafredi, a mafia boss who, after serving a 25-year prison sentence, is relocated to Tulsa, Oklahoma to establish the mob’s presence there.

“Things aren’t truly owned by people unless they have the courage to claim them,” Stallone asserts in the latest trailer, set to the tune of Jelly Roll’s fantastic track “Get By.” Alongside Sly and familiar faces Martin Starr, Andrea Savage, and Jay Will, we welcome new additions Neal McDonough and Rich Ting. The trailer promises the high-octane action that Season 2 is known for, as Manfredi and his team strive to broaden their business ventures. Take a look at the video below.

As a movie buff following the storyline closely, I find myself cheering for Dwight and his team as they expand and safeguard their expanding domain in Tulsa. However, just when they seem to have things under control, they realize that others share their ambition to lay claim here. The Kansas City mob looms menacingly on one side, while a local tycoon with immense influence poses another threat. Dwight is now juggling the challenge of protecting his loved ones and comrades, all while managing his multifarious responsibilities. To make matters more complex, there are still unresolved matters back in New York that demand his attention.

Tulsa King Has Expanded Beyond Streaming

Originally exclusive to Paramount+, “Tulsa King” transitioned to traditional television broadcast earlier this year on CBS in July. This shift aimed to attract more viewers before Season 2, potentially boosting subscriptions to the streaming platform. Although specific viewership numbers haven’t been disclosed yet, it’s likely that many people who appreciated its TV premiere have indeed subscribed, further expanding its existing subscriber base of approximately 64 million.

In a unique blend of crime, humor, drama, and even romance, the series Tulsa King stands out as one of the few productions that excels in all these genres. The fact that Sylvester Stallone, at the age of 78, continues to shine as a leading man, underscores his undiminished talent. This prowess will once again be evident in the forthcoming action movies Armored and Alarum. At this point, it’s evident that he has no intention of slowing down.

To put it simply, we’re utterly thrilled about Season 2 of Tulsa King, and we can hardly contain our anticipation to find out what adventures Sheridan, Stallone, and their team have planned for us this year. We’re eagerly looking forward to returning to the Southwest for another round of high-octane action!
