TULSA KING SEASON 3 IS COMING!

It’s official, Hollywood icon
will return to the small screen as mob capo Dwight “The General” Manfredi in Tulsa King Season 3. The next chapter in the crime saga has been in production for the last few months, with Paramount+ now taking to social media to make everything official and confirm that Tulsa King Season 3 “is in the works!”

Beginning back in 2022, Tulsa King introduces audiences to New York mafia capo Dwight “The General” Manfredi, played by Rocky and Rambo star Sylvester Stallone. After being released from prison after 25 years and exiled by his boss to set up shop in Tulsa, Okla, Manfredi realizes that his mob family may not have his best interests in mind and decides to slowly build a “crew” from a group of unlikely characters to help him establish a new criminal empire.

Created by Taylor Sheridan, who is best known for the likes of Sicario, Hell or High Water, and Wind River on the big screen, as well as Yellowstone, Mayor of Kingstown, and both 1883 and 1923 on the small screen, the writer behind the likes of The Wolf of Wall Street, The Sopranos, and Boardwalk Empire, Terence Winter, is the series’ showrunner. Alongside Stallone, the series also stars Andrea Savage (I’m Sorry), Martin Starr (Silicon Valley), Max Casella (The Tender Bar), Domenick Lombardozzi (The Irishman), Vincent Piazza (Boardwalk Empire), Jay Will (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), A.C. Peterson (Superman & Lois), and Garrett Hedlund (The United States vs. Billie Holiday), with Season 2 adding the likes of Annabella Sciorra (The Hand That Rocks the Cradle), Neal McDonough (Captain America: The First Avenger), and Frank Grillo (Captain America: The Winter Soldier, The Purge: Anarchy).

‘Tulsa King’ Has Been a Huge Hit for Paramount+

Tulsa King has been met with critical acclaim, with Season 1 landing scores of 79% and 87% from critics and audiences, respectively, while Season 2 holds a score of 100% from critics on Rotten Tomatoes. The series has also achieved big numbers for the streaming platform Paramount+, with the first episode of Season 2 breaking the “record for most watched global premiere at the time with reported 21.1 million global streaming viewers,” according to Deadline. So, the now official Tulsa King Season 3 has a lot to live up to.

While the Season 3 confirmation is sure to excite fans, it was rumored that Tulsa King would get a third and fourth season renewal simultaneously. Though that has not happened, considering the success of the series and the continuing popularity of stories crafted by Taylor Sheridan, it’s likely that Tulsa King will be back for more in the near future. Returning actor Martin Starr recently teased what’s to come in Tulsa King Season 3, calling the newest series “a lot of fun” and hinting at some loose ends being tied up.

“I mean, I’ve only just read the first two scripts. We start production next week. I can’t tell you anything that I’ve read in those episodes, but I am excited. This new season is going to be a lot of fun. It looks already like there’s going to be a lot of action, and there are some loose ends that may or may not get tied up.”
