The peacock (a reference to NBC Universal) is striding confidently towards San Diego Comic-Con 2025, carrying a load of chaos related to “Twisted Metal” for the upcoming second season debut on Thursday, July 31.
This year’s highly anticipated video game adaptation is set to make a big impact at the upcoming pop culture event happening from July 24th to 27th. Visitors can expect an exciting bumper car experience, a sneak peek panel with cast and crew, and a special preview of the first two episodes before their official release.
In Twisted Metal Season 2, characters John Doe, portrayed by Anthony Mackie, and Quiet, played by Stephanie Beatriz, find themselves immersed in a lethal vehicle competition orchestrated by the mysterious Calypso, played by Anthony Carrigan. The winner of this tournament will be granted their most cherished wish, however, achieving such a lofty goal is more challenging than it seems. Initially, our protagonists must endure dangerous confrontations with adversaries such as Sweet Tooth (Joe Seanoa and Will Arnett), Mr. Grimm (Richard De Klerk), Dollface (Tiana Okoye), and the armored Axel (Michael James Shaw).

Twisted Metal Bumper Battle Activation
Step into a world post-apocalypse where it’s bumper-to-bumper madness at Peacock’s Twisted Metal Bumper Battle! Just like the famous Twisted Metal tournament from Season 2, fans can now select their ride – iconic vehicles redesigned as bumper cars – and join in on a fun version of Calypso’s derby. The event will also include fantastic photo opportunities, a showcase of some of the tournament cars seen in the series, unexpected surprises, and chaos around every turn!
This event is completely free for everyone to attend. You won’t need any special passes or tickets. However, since entry and bumper car rides are given on a first-come, first-served basis, it’s not guaranteed that you’ll get a chance to ride. Also, remember that all riders and passengers must sign waivers before participating.
