As a seasoned gamer and long-time fan of Two Point Studio’s masterful creations, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement upon hearing about their latest venture, the Two Point Museum. Having spent countless hours in the bustling corridors of Two Point Hospital and the vibrant halls of Two Point Campus, I am more than ready to channel my inner Ben Stiller (or is it Ben Still?) as I delve into this prehistoric adventure.
Stepping into the realm of creativity once more, it’s I who am thrilled to be part of the journey from Two Point Studio, the geniuses behind the life-saving ventures of Two Point Hospital and the architects of the academic excellence in Two Point Campus. Now, we’re diving a little deeper into our past – delving into the miraculous times of prehistory or the grandeur of ancient Egypt, whatever era ignites your curiosity.
In the role of the third installment in the Two Point series, produced by SEGA, you’ll find yourself drawing upon your inner comedic genius as you spend numerous evenings within a museum known as the cleverly titled Two Point Cultural Hub.
Two Point Museum is the latest
Previously, the simulation series introduced a game that followed in the footsteps of Theme Hospital, and this time took us into an educational environment on a university campus. In this new installment, the task is to safeguard history and present it in such a manner that brings fossils to vivid life.
To organize archaeological teams for expeditions seeking dinosaur fossils or uncovering ancient temples to discover forgotten artifacts, your task is to creatively exhibit these findings in an appealing manner. A points-based system will incentivize you to keep things family-friendly, similar to the scoring mechanics in Bullfrog’s Theme Park games.
However, it’s not merely about admiring the “shiny skeleton” at Two Point Museum, as Ben Stiller’s influence adds a mischievous twist. Be prepared for unscrupulous forces intent on causing chaos. Two Point Museum cautions that potential threats like vandals, thieves, and mischievous kids will pose challenges to your museum, requiring you to balance security with running a profitable business.
Following the launch of Hospital and Campus on both PS4 and Xbox One, SEGA announced that Museum will exclusively debut on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. This decision marks Museum as the most recent game to forego support for previous-generation consoles. As for Two Point Museum, its release date remains undisclosed; however, the developers have assured us that updates are forthcoming.
